Pimp Cane, or a swagger stick

This piece started as a simple vine-wrapped stick I found at a site I was selling at, and something about it caught my eye. I pulled off the vine, set the resulting cracks with colored resin, painted a metallic ribbon on it, and set a resin sphere embedded with a gold dragon on the top. I thought it was a nice conversation piece to demonstrate my craft, but my best friend said , “Oh God, is that your pimp cane?” and now it won’t get out of my head.
